Mini Golf: how a round works

Open Mini Golf, check the instructions and begin a round. Sink all three holes within twelve strokes per hole. Look at what changes after your first action. Compare the starting position with the example in the Guide. Use the example below to understand a decision.

Three original obstacle courses; wall bounces and friction.

Something to practise

Before your first action, say what you are trying to achieve. Then compare the result with the goal. Notice the feedback after each input.

  2. Set power and putt.
  3. Wait until it stops before another shot.
  4. Use Next hole after sinking.

How to use the controls

Touch aim, angle/power sliders and Putt. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Contact us with the game and device if a control does not respond.

See the idea in action

A soft final putt can sink where a fast crossing would not. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Check the stated objective.

Watch out for this

The hole accepts only a sufficiently slow ball. A different version of the game may use a different rule. Before your first action, say what you are trying to achieve. Then compare the result with the goal.
